Yan Yi is an associate in the Corporate & Commercial Practice Group.
She has several years of collective experience in practising law in the fields of Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Corporate Law.
Yan Yi assists clients in the Corporate & Commercial sphere both locally and internationally, including in areas of mergers and acquisitions, drafting, and reviewing of commercial contracts including the preparation of template commercial contracts and providing advisory relating to acquisition for commercial property and regulatory land.
Prior to Yan Yi’s entry into the profession, Yan Yi advised for developers in commercial and healthcare developments in Malaysia as well as Singaporean oil and gas distributors. She has advised clients from a diverse range of sectors including oil and gas, entertainment, franchising, land, health services, dentistry, technology, banking, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and food and beverage.
Yan Yi is conversant in Malay and Mandarin. She is a graduate of law from the University of Bristol who is admitted to practise law as Advocate & Solicitor of the Hight Court of Malaya since 2024.
