Neil Robertson is qualified in France and England and specialises in business and corporate law, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and sports law.
Neil advises sports organizations, clubs and athletes on a range of legal matters including investments, the setting up of businesses and clubs, employment contracts, disputes and sponsorship agreements. He is legal advisor to Brive, a leading French rugby club, and has forged a sterling reputation in defending professional rugby players before disciplinary panels. Neil also set up and helps manage a golf business in the Paris suburbs (a 9-hole course, with a driving range and training facilities).
Neil is Co-Chairman of the Meritas Sports Law Group. He set up the Golf de Maisons-Laffitte (golfml.com), of which he is Chairman.
